Sentral Parent Portal
The Sentral Parent Portal will help you keep up to date with news and events happening at Smalls Road Public School. Parents can access the portal thrpough the link above OR download the free Sentral Parent Portal App from Google Play or App Store.
Parents need a unique access key to link to their child'ren. If you do not have your access key, provided via email upon enrolment, contact the school via email to request.
Once you are registered and linked you will be able to easily:
- access newsletters
- access the school calendar
- access daily notices
- see your child's overall attendance
- submit absences
- apply for extended leave (if needed)
Parents and Citizens’ Association (P&C)
Our Parents and Citizens’ Association (P&C) is made up of parents and carers, teachers and community members. The P&C meets regularly to contribute to decision-making, developing policies and management plans as well as fundraising.
The P&C meets twice a term, on Monday nights (generally) during weeks 3 and 8. The meetings are held in the staffroom and online via Teams Meeting from 7.30pm. Teams Meeting details are sent from the P&C to the community before each meeting OR email the P&C at info@smallsrdpnc.com.au for the link.
All are welcome to attend the meetings. If you would like to be a voting member of the P&C, complete the new member registration form and pay a $5 membership fee (yearly) to the P&C executive. This can be done either via bank deposit (details are on the form) or at the beginning of the meeting. Voting rights will begin at the following meeting.

Counselling for families
The school counsellor can assist when families undergo a trauma or big change. Contact us to make an appointment. For information in community languages, see school counselling service.
Outside of the education system, free telephone counselling services are available to support families who may be going through a difficult time.

Interpreting and translations
We will help you communicate with our school. If you’d like an interpreter for a school meeting, let us know and we will arrange one, if available.
If you don’t speak or understand English well and want to contact us, call TIS National on 131 450 and ask for an interpreter in your language. The operator will call the school and get an interpreter to help. This service is free.
